Aim

This program is a tenure tracking project for an Independent Research Environment Promotion Program for Young Researchers in School of Engineering, Tohoku University. In the program, a researcher in the tenure tracking position is supervised by senior mentors.

Project Scheme

This program is organized by dean and heads of department in School of Engineering, Tohoku University. The practical affair of the program is conducted by heads of Division of Mechanical Engineering.

Recruitment

• To recruit tenure track researcher through international public advertisement.
• Tenure track research is selected by selection committee including outside selector of our university.

Research Environment

• To support each selected tenure track researcher with 12 million yen.
• To secure a research space (approximately 25 square meters in individual use and 100 square meters in common use)
